I'm sure the majority of the time these work great as the reviews are what sold it to me. My experience was not so great. The monitor and the few colors I did see were crisp deep and vivid.
However it saying deep pixel cleaning need to be done over and over again. Even when I could get it to complete. It would not show any image from computer, tied all ports and multiple HDMI Cordes I know to work. Returned monitor. Gonna wait till it or somthing similar comes on sale and try again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’m writing this review as a heads-up for buyers who already own a good IPS monitor, like I do. I spent over two weeks researching OLED monitors because, like most people, I wanted to make sure I was buying the best option possible. OLED monitors aren’t cheap, so I wanted to make the right choice.
When I saw the LG GX704A-B WOLED monitor on sale, the specs looked very promising. After using it for a few days, here are my thoughts.
Pros:
* Deep blacks look amazing. * The image is very sharp and clear. * The OSD menu is easy to use and navigate.
Cons:
* Colors looked a bit washed out to me, even after trying different calibration settings. * VRR flicker was very noticeable in dark scenes and game menus.
Coming from a 1440p 165Hz IPS monitor, I honestly didn’t get the “wow” OLED experience I was expecting. I was really excited to try this monitor and wanted to love it, but it just didn’t have the same impact as when I upgraded from my old TN panel to IPS years ago. Back then, the improvement in colors and image quality was immediately obvious.
I compared my IPS and OLED monitors side by side, and color-wise they looked very similar. The biggest difference was the OLED’s deep blacks, which were definitely impressive and easy to notice. Other than that, the upgrade didn’t feel as significant as I expected.
I ended up returning the monitor because I was hoping for a bigger jump in image quality compared to my IPS display. If you’re looking to save money, there are a lot of excellent IPS monitors available at very reasonable prices right now.
For now, I’ll be keeping my IPS monitor and waiting to see what the next generation of OLED panels brings.
