[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is the product I was introduced to as a child because it was easy to and made projects neat and clean. I enjoy it still because it help me help my children through school projects. And as i think of Christmas and gifts for my children now 18 and I soon be a grandpa and it will help our family stick together through the next generation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i grew up with Scotch-brand scotch tape! in fact, when the name scotch tape became a generic name it was from Scotch-brand.
we owned a candy store when i was young and we wrapped a lot of boxes of chocolates at Christmas. always using Scotch-brand - why skimp on the outside when nothing else was skimped on?
now as a father passing on some traditions of my own, when wrapping gifts with my son we ALWAYS use Scotch-brand scotch tape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Tape delivers! Working for the government they are always trying to get cheap products in the office. I insist the supply room clerk knows I get the "green" Scotch Tape. I use it for everything! The best example of it's superiority is when I need to tape plan sheets together and make a copy.... with Scotch Magic Tape, the copy does not show the tape line - why would I want a tape line? Love this product!

Still my FAVORITE tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying to buy the imitators several times(and they FAIL) I just wrapped presents using Scotch tape. These gifts were important and had to look "pretty" for my son's first "crush"..I realized no other tape compares. Perfect for gift wrapping in a rush! You are not fighting with the tape to come off the rolll, your own fingers and the dispenser does not crack like cheaper made versions. It is still my favorite tape!

Christmas is over and I am sitting back thinking I made it another year.. me and my Scotch Tape !! Before it snows, before I buy a gift, I make sure I buy my Scotch Tape. because you are not going to survive Christmas without it !! It is the strongest tape that is going to hold the wrapping together. It does not stand out like a sore thumb on the package either, which I like. A product I have trusted for a long time, and will continue to trust.... Now who's birthday is next ? LOL !!

I am a long time user and had a bit of a suprize when I started my last roll. Suprise, it was wound backward. In other words, when I want to cut the tape, I can do it the normal way, but I need to bring it up to the top of the dispenser. Of course it sticks the way it should when I use it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lifelong obsession

I can't possibly be the only person who loves feeling/scratching Scotch Magic Tape. I have had an obsession with it for at least 40 years. Besides being the best quality tape out there, it just feels so nice. I even make worry stones" by layering several pieces of tape into a thick, flexible thingamajig to carry around with me. Do you think I should I see someone about this? :)

Tape Dispenser Issues

The tape itself is fabulous. The tackiness and the way it blends into whatever gift I'm wrapping is superb. It's obvious that Scotch has the tape perfected. However, I'm wondering if there are new dispensers. It seems every roll I've purchased lately has a less sharp plastic-blade cutting area. I end up having a ragged, distorted edge on my tape from multiple attempts at cutting the tape off the plastic blade. I'll continue to use Scotch, but I'm going to have to purchase a dedicated tape dispenser with a good metal blade.
