Scotch Magic Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased Scotch Magic Tape purely as a substitute because my normal store brand was out of stock. I purchased the tape to use for wrapping presents for the holidays. I quickly found that the Scotch magic tape was of better quality. The tape came off of the roll as one piece instead of sometimes tearing into several smaller pieces. Smaller pieces could be used intead of long strips of the store brand when wrapping because of the quality (stickiness/holding ability). I will recommend this to others now.

Scotch brand magic tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch brand magic tape is the only tape I use. I like it because it is wider than normal tape and because I can write on it. It is definately the best tape on the market. Scotch brand magic tape has been my choice for many years, possibly since it first came on the market. Being able to write on it is so helpful, as is the extra width. That makes it so much more useful.
Below is the question where did I purchase it. Since I have been using it exclusively for years, I purchase it wherever I am when I need more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How can someone have a negative opinion about Scothch tape? Try wrapping a Christmas present, raching for the tape & discovering that it is very difficult to actually tear a piece of tape off the roll. I don't understand why this happens - as obviously I have used Scotch tape for mega years & never had a problem.
I figure it is a one time malfuntion & will continue to buy this product. But was annoyed that this happens.

One piece of tape

When we tried using other tapes, they didn't compare; either the tape wouldn't stick or the dispenser wouldn't cut the tape, we had continual problems with generic tape. Scotch tape may be a little more pricey than the generic brands but the quality of the tape is worth the extra money. In December 2000, my family and I were going through some changes in life and we were decorating for Christmas. We decided to hang our mistletoe and couldn't find anything to use, so we used a piece of scotch tape. It is now 2010 and that same piece of tape still holds that mistletoe (and please don't misunderstand, this isn't just a little piece of greenery) our mistletoe includes a giant bell! Scotch tape has proved that it can withstand the test of time and continues to be a main stay in our home and will until the end.

I love this product for all types of use. The kids use it to repair papers as well as for hanging them up on the wall. It dispenses well from the tape dispenser. It works great for craft projects and homework projects. It disappears on most of the papers we use at home.

The Best... forget the rest!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried so many different brands of tape and they are always sticking together, pull apart and not have a complete width of the tape that is nice and neat but not with this one! I find I can depend on it to remove and cut and be precise and not have to worry about any of the nonsense that comes with poor quality tape! I stick with Scotch and no more hassles! Taping is no more a chore!

higher price may be least expensive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many brands of tape. I once thought getting the cheapest would be the best way to go. However, it always ended up being more expensive in the long run because it would take more tape or wouldn't hold at all. Magic tape always sticks well, is easily cut, and is nearly invisible. Needless to say Ihave came back to stay Magic is the best way to go.
