Sticks ok but hard to stay peeled on roll.

I have bought 3M products over the years and have been satisfied overall. Always thought their products were high quality. This Magic tape roll is too thin and cheap. It does not stay peeled on the roll and it makes it extremely difficult to start a new tape strip peel. After taking a piece of tape off it sometimes it doesn't rip off correctly and it sticks on the roll making it hard to start a new tape strip. If it was just a little bit thicker and stronger it would be better. I do not recommend this cheaply made thin tape. I will have to find another quality brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This tape is actual magic

About a year and a half ago, I knocked the driver side mirror off of my Chevy Tahoe in a parking garage. At the time, the only thing I had in my console was a roll of Scotch tape. I figured I'd tape it temporarily until I got it fixed - Scotch tape on a heavy duty car mirror couldn't last long. A year a half later and my mirror is still held on by around 12 strands of Scotch tape. It's been through rain, snow, wind, 400 mile trips to Las Vegas, car washes, door slams - the mirror doesn't budge. I'm not a big review-writer, but the stuff is actual magic and whoever is reading this must know.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I give this product a good review because it does not impede the beauty of my package by standing out as a yellow blemish on the paper. I would have given excellent review if only the tape would not stick to itself when accidentally let go mid tear, causing you to loose where the beginning of the roll is. In its defense it lives up to its name by blending in and being "magic" tape and almost disappearing as what makes it so effective for wrapping anyway.

Magic Mending Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I was pleased with the use of this tape, the only problem I ran into some time ago, was that the metal blade on the cutting part of the dispenser fell out before I finished using all the tape on the roll. But I have noticed since that that has now been replaced by plastic teeth blade, so that this problem should not occur any more. Otherwise, this is a good product which comes in very handy for all sorts of uses.

Look for the green plaid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a housewife, I only have uses for tape in my home (i.e., not at a workplace). But I always keep an open roll in my kitchen utility drawer and it comes in so handy day after day with little and big home projects since my home is my work-place! All I do is open the drawer, look for a glint of green plaid, grab out the tape dispenser and get to work. Seeing that green Scotch plaid is an easy way to spot quality and convenience.

My only tape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Scotch brand Magic tape for years! It is the only tape I buy and can't imagine wrapping a gift without it. It disappears on wrapping paper making my wrap job look neat and always holds well. It even holds up when my kids are trying to peek at their Christmas or birthday gifts! Magic tape is the only tape you will find in my home.
