The swim tube has two chambers for air. My daughter, nickname "river rat" for her inclination to go swimming and hanging out at our nearby river, requested the inflatable swim tube for our round Intex 14' above ground pool. If anything, I wish I'd purchased more swim tubes for multiple people to use.
