Works better than expected .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used the mounting tape to mount a couple heavy (wood framed) earaser boards in the house , and was pleasently surprised how easy and well it worked . Boards have been rock solid on the walls and have not budged since they were mounted .
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great in place but very difficult to remove

I purchased this tape to hold carpet treads to our wooden staircase so our elderly dog could descend the stairs safely. Now that she has passed away, I'd like to remove the treads and the Scotch Indoor Mount, 314H-MED, underneath them. It has been an absolutely miserable process. I tried various solvents, putty knives, plastic knives, and more to get it up without damaging the polyurethane. I have not succeeded but will need to keep trying. So, the tape is a great hold but a painful removal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

misleading package

I wanted a temporary, but strong mount. There are no instructions on how to remove the product.

Shorter than advertised

Holds well, just advertised incorrectly.
Says 55" in length.
That might be true, but the last 3 inches cannot be removed from roll!
I needed 55 inches. I bought 55 inches.
I got 52 inches.

Impossible to get off wall

Does it hold up your items, yes. Will it destroy your wall when you try and take it off? 1000%. It doesn’t come off 100%. Your walls become discolored and it’s a mess.
** nowhere does it say for a permanent situation and not intended for removal.
