[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a longtime Sterilite customer going back over 15 years when I lived near their Texas plant. I will admit that when they stopped producing the sandwich size (green seal) I was less than happy. But when I discovered this unit it made up for it. The size is perfect for our house. I am blind and use this for everything from mashed potatoes to meds. The airlock tab is a great addition which allows for better seals and easier release when opening. I did receive one lid with only three tabs but I never use all the lids at the same time anyway. Now if only they would bring back the sandwich size (green seal)

Love this container. Easy to open and close. Open vent great for veggies. So, why is it hard to find if it has such good reviews!!!!

Leaks

We bought 4 of the 16 cup size. All 4 leaked. Neither airtight nor watertight. Very disappointed. Returned them all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am replacing my old BPA plastics and was very glad to find Sterilite food containers. I've purchased three different sizes of the Ultra Seal containers. Thank you for the variety of safe food storage containers.
