Complimentary Sample Washi Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVE this product! I received a sample and tried this tape every way I could possibly imagine, great for labeling although I found it best written on with a sharpie because even with a fisher space pen, I had difficulty clearly printing on the tape nevertheless it is indispensable and has come in quite handy. Thank you Scotch, you continue to make high quality, affordable and convenient to use products that truly benefit my everyday! The complimentary sample is very appreciated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Scotch Brand Expressions Washi Tape as a free sample. I love the colors on this tape. The repositioning feature works wonderfully. However, I took 3 separate sections of the tape to check out the writing on it feature and was slightly disappointed. Using a marker worked fantastic with bold clear writing. Pencil was not so good, could tell there was writing there but very faint. The ink pens were a sad disappointment. Regular ink just would not flow onto the tape. A gel pen did slightly better. Overall, I am impressed with the tape and will use it for decorating packages and crafting projects. Will just have to remember to use a marker to write on it.

Not an all purpose Washi

I used this tape for a chore chart in a white board...worked great, but the. I tried to use it other places (cell phone case, headset at work) and it won't stick!!! Definitely doesn't stick to itself either...fell in love now I'm suffering a sad break up...
3M...please save yourself and me the time...don't reply with your generic response to call your customer service center...take the time to manufacture a better product!

Beyond Frustrated- Hate this product

I bought this tape to use on the white board in my classroom. It did't stick for more that 10 minutes until it started to bubble and droop off completely. So then I took the remaining tape and tried to stick it to my metal filing cabinet and to a wood shelf, and still it stayed for minutes before peeling off. I threw it in the trash where it belongs!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Will not stick to anything!

I was incredibly excited to see these little rolls, so i bought 3 colors to dazzle up my crafts. I was quickly disappointed, as it refuses to stick to anything. I was excited to use it on my phone case, and even after coating it with a lacquer spray, 4 coats, it started lifting before i had a chance to put my phone in the case. I've wasted so much, trying everything i could think of to help it stick. Ive tried different types of paper, plastic, ive tried it on glass, fabric, tried to apply heat, made sure the surfaces were clean, i even tried using super glue to get it to stay and have had no luck. As soon as you start to unroll it, you can feel the lack of grippy resistance from the "adhesive". Unfortunately, the colors are the only positive feature I can praise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Free Sample

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of Washi tape from Scotch. While I have a lot of Washi tape and several from Scotch, the one sample that I received it won't come off of the roll at all, it tears in a layer leaving such a fine layer that you can't remove it, the few instances that I could remove the layer, didn't prove to make a difference. Now the other's Scotch brand one's that I have are fine, it's just this one particular roll.

Multicolor glitter

I bought 8 rolls of the multicolor washi tape. Spent hours doing a wall project like I've done a few times for friends and I decided to go all out for wall art on one of my own walls. Woke up, and the entire thing was on strips on the floor. I'm very disappointed.

Can't get enough of this tape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm an avid greeting card maker and paper crafter. I have MANY rolls of the Scotch Expressions glitter tape in every color and I can't get enough of this tape! I use it in place of ribbon and washi tape or if I want to add a little extra bling to my projects. I now hold monthly workshops in my home and everyone loves when we use this glitter tape. I've never had a problem with it sticking to my cards, no matter what the paper weight or texture is.
I would recommend this to a friend!
