I've used hot rollers for years on my "50-something" asian hair. My Conair travel set finally died after 25 years and I was excited to purchase this set. I wanted to love these Luxe Rollers but sadly, I don't think the highest setting is hot enough because the curls/waves do not last in my hair, at all. My cheapy Conair hot rollers create curls/waves that last 10x longer. Plus the comb clamps leave weird crimps in my hair. :( Sad to have to return this set.
I wanted a soft bouncy look to my hair….like a fresh, blow out from your favorite stylist…this hot roller set does the job. Even on second and third day hair. Clips could be better.
My hair feels bouncy and look shiny. Within 5 minutes, I’m done with styling my hair. That’s how quick your hair turns amazing. No waiting time for rollers to heat up. Just turn on and in seconds it’s warming up.
Ive had this product for months and held off writing a review till I learned how to use the product but all I have coke to learn is they don’t get hot. I’ll let them sit for 30 min to heat up and they’ll be warm, but not nearly hot enough. The roller clips are so cheap and don’t hold anything into place and everything falls out. This product was clearly not made for people with full or longish hair. So upsetting

Okay here I go. I’ve been watching comparison videos for weeks in preparation to try these. I ended up choosing this brand over others despite the price because of two things. One they are very compact and the fact that the plug can adjust for voltage are must haves if you plan to travel with hot rollers. I had about 2 ft long straight and mid thick hair (not to thin not to thick). I wanted these to curl more than they did but my hair was too long and these are definitely designed for more voluminous styling. But I am determined to be lazy soooo I cut a foot of my hair added some layers and curtain bangs and walla much better. Now I can easily do my whole hair I get more of a curl though still blowout esq. They don’t get as hot as my curling iron which will make it hard for hair that doesn’t curl well. All in all though just the fact that it only takes me 10 minutes to put them in and then I can do my makeup at the same time is awesome!!! The clips work well though I do sometimes get kinks. I haven’t figured out what causes those because sometimes I don’t get them… Also I’m not great at hair so it did take a while to figure out rolling and all that. I roll my bangs backward into a big roller. I use the four smaller the do the hair close to my face directing it away from my face. And then I do the rest of my three big rollers and hair by rolling it under or the opposite. All in all I would get these if you have thinner to mid thick hair, a haircut that works with voluminous blowout style, you travel a lot. And I would consider a different brand if you have long or thick hair, you need more rollers, and your hair doesn’t hold curl well.
Just received these as a Christmas present. Two of the curlers do not heat up no matter which element I used. I am hoping to get a response from the company. If not I will return entire set. I was so excited when I got these and I know they are not cheap. Hopefully this issue will be rectified quickly. If not, on to the next brand!
