easy to install and use

female here...installed on my own in less than 30 minutes..the hardest part...removing the old thermostat's cover....very easy to read instructions...a plethora of support articles on the nest website ! i'm excited about my new relationship with MY NEST !

Worth the investment

I have 4 thermostats in my house and purchased 3 nest thermostats. Not only do they look nice, it's so easy to control. The learning is so quick and you definitely see the savings in your heating bill.

Great product for your money

I just built a new house and installed two nest thermostats. I love them so easy to use. They look great since I built a modern looking house. I use my iPhone all the time to just temperatures and set my schedule. The features I like best are the history of usage and when my teenage cranks up the heat when I am sleeping. I just have my phone by my bed and turn down the heat.

Excellent functionality

We really like the functionality of the nest thermostat. It’s nice that it learns our heating and cooling patterns and adjust to them without programming. We did have some issues with installation. The instructions weren’t entirely clear. Thankfully we have a friend who is a master contractor who has seen the problem for installations repeatedly and could walk us through how to make the correction.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I went from a traditional thermostat to a Nest. I am terrible at DIY but installed it myself! The video and instructions were perfect. I like how it learns from my usage and being able to manage it from my mobile or computer is convenient. It may be pricier than a regular thermostat but it is a worthwhile investment. Highly recommend!

An excellent thermostat

I can say that my Nest met every claim made by the manufacture, and was easy and intuitive to set up.
I will admit that I usually greet a new product by assuming can I set up with minimal use of instruction. I will further admit that I did not set a weekly schedule for a month as it took that long to become aware of the procedure.
For my mounting location, a satellite sensor capability would be my only desired improvement. I await the next version
