Installation instructions were fantastic and I know nothing about electronics!! Can be a bit confusing if you are replacing an older and MUCH more basic thermostat but we figured it out and it looks/works great!

So far its okay

I am still new to this thermostat and so far it has been okay. not sure if it is still "learning" or i dont have settings right but it will go into eco mode when we do not intend it to, also wish there was a way we could set a minimum temperature when it goes into eco mode.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi mpritt56, thanks for sharing your feedback with us about the Nest Learning Thermostat, and we’re sorry to hear that it goes into eco mode when you don’t intend it to.
The thermostat changes its temperature automatically due to some factors like, schedule, learned habits (auto schedule), and Home/Away Assist which makes your thermostat go to ECO mode. You have an option to use it as a traditional programmable thermostat. You can manually set the temperature and create your schedules for the thermostat to follow. Here’s how:
With the Nest app:
- Open the Nest app and select your Nest thermostat.
- Select Settings and then Auto-Schedule.
- Tap the switch to turn it off.
On your thermostat:
- Press the ring and choose Settings and then Nest Sense and then Auto-Schedule and then Off.
We also suggest turning off your Home/Assist, and clearing the existing schedules by selecting Settings, then Reset, then Schedule and Reset again.

It's wonderful to be able to adjust the temperature using your phone! I like the way it looks and the ease of use. If I'm in the other room away from the thermostat and I want the fan on or the temperature adjusted, it's just one click away. It's also easy to adjust the temperature at the thermostat itself. I highly recommend it!

My husband insisted we purchase this learning thermostat. We installed geothermal and had to buy a thermostat anyways. I thought it would be a waste of money... Boy did Nest prove me wrong! Not only do I use this app friendly devise when I am away from home, I also use it when I am laying in bed having hot flashes. HA! This is wonderful! Looking into purchasing more nest products.

I received my Nest Thermostat wired it up which was very easy. I had a small issue when I programmed it but just needed to unplug and everything was reset and had no other issues.
Works great and has saved on propane use.

Would highly recommend this product to even the least tech savy people out there. Ease of access to internet and the app is ver simple to use. If you want to simplify thermostat use and save some energy this is the product for you.
