Great Product

Bought this product a over a month ago and I am beyond impressed. The thermostat was very easy to install and setup. This product learns your schedule and makes adjustments for you, also the monthly report tracks your usage and gives you recommendations on ways to improve your energy savings. Great Product

Technology is cool. Nest is cool. Saving money through efficiency and automation is cool. Getting that wow factor from my friends and family is REALLY cool. The Nest is a new and early addition to my home automation system which I hope to continue to expand, and can already tell it's going to be a consistent eye catcher from its very sleek and modern appearance, interactive GUI, and features.

A “gadgeteer’s” dream

It, the Nest, was easy to install and set up. When it said is was ready to go to work, it was. We’ve used it to program our house, change settings from foreign locations and, best of all, it has learned us and does things to make our lives more comfortable. Marvelous little device.

Nest Thermostat the Best

Totally surprised me. The thermostat learns from you on where you set the temperature on a daily basis, day and night, and mimic's it. Love it!

Fairly simple to install. Hands free after initial installation. We had a minor issue that tech support handled very well

Good, but not perfect

I feel like it doesn’t take into account the outside temp in it’s algorithm. Only time of day. Because it knows we like it warm at night, but not needed as much when it’s when it’s warm outside. Waking up in sweat when weather changes instantly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Google Nest Learning Thermostat can learn your daily routine and automatically create a temperature schedule for you. The outside temperature does not contribute to Auto- Schedule. Nest Thermostat learns a personalized schedule using the temperatures you’ve set.
If you don’t want your Nest Learning Thermostat to make automatic adjustments to its temperature schedule as it learns what temperatures you like and when, turn off Auto-Schedule. Extremely Helpful

I am always looking for ways to save and this is a no brainer for helping do that. With my previous thermostat which was set to work on a time schedule would cost me right around $100 to $120 in the extreme hot or cold months, but with the Nest Thermostat I haven't once had a bill over $85 to $90. makes up for the price with those kind of numbers in less than a year for us. Maybe it will for you.
