gets the job done

works good not many problems just takes a while to learn your habits and sometimes turns on when you dont want it on. but other than that it works well. wish it worked better with alexa but im not complaining to much about it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If your Nest thermostat automatically changes temperatures even though you’ve already turned off the Auto-schedule, it may be because of the existing schedules that the thermostat previously learned. Clearing all the schedules can prevent it from changing the temperature on its own. You can do this by going to Settings > Reset > Schedule > Reset.

I am impressed with the quality of the product and the customer service. Setup was easy and is a beautiful product. Now I hope it saves me some money on energy but we will see.

We feel the difference

I put a Nest Learning thermostat in the main portion of our house a year ago - super easy installation and I'm not highly skilled in that department. Two wires and done. Install the app, connect to wifi and it's operational.I love the data that becomes available and it's definitely "learning." I also liked being able to turn the heat up from a distance while we were on a vacation in November. House was warm when we got home. Nice.I had my work cut out for me trying to make a second Nest work with my propane heat stove but after some serious research, I found a work-around and that one's working like a champ, too.I'm happy with both units.

Saved so much!

I couldn't believe how much money we saved by being able to adjust the home temperature while we are away. Once I understood how much time it would take to cool the house down, I could make note to set the thermostat to cool so I come home at a comfortable temperature. Also, I'm not incredibly tech savvy, but I found this device very easy to operate.

Installation issues

Like the product and (once installed) the performance (so far-only installed 2 weeks ago). the issue is with the new heating/cooling systems hooking up the wiring to the nest, unless you are an hvac pro, is not simple nor intuitive. Nest is advertised as a DIY project, showing four wires in their installation video. Our system had 8 wires. finally had to call our hvac contractor to complete .

Great thermostat

OK so I purchased this thermostat from a with a recommendation from my HVAC man you said he had one in his home and he absolutely loved it I purchased it the next day tried to hook it up could not do it myself I'm not very Tech savvy I call him he talked me through it got hooked up probably within the hour
