Great product. The few things I would point out would be:
1. Taking a photo of your past wiring configuration is so important to use as a reference.
2. Knowing what type of HVAC system (forced air etc.) you have is also very important to your wiring.
3. Give your HVAC system time to kick into full working potential. It will take several mins if not an hour or so.
I enjoy both of mine.

Highly recommended upgrade

Upon recommendation from a family member who is also an HVAC pro, we purchased this unit without question. The long-term energy and financial savings are more than worth it as well as the rebates and ongoing programs from the electric company. Quick and easy installation. Home/Away assist is a really cool feature that guarantees energy savings too. It's also aesthetically pleasing and enhances the decor.

Excellent Value

The Nest was an upgrade from another brand. The ease of installation was by far the best part of this thermostat. The other required a power converter to be installed within the furnace, but the Nest has an internal power converter and battery. I was able to install the Nest in 10 minutes and had it operational in 30.
Most of all I wanted an Apple Watch app, which Nest delivered on.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worry Free Household Temps

Love the ease of controlling the temperature from my iPhone 24-7 in both our US home and vacation home in Mexico. We already had thermostats that worked but the ability to control them via the iPhone app was the main reason for acquiring this great product!

We bought a home built in 1990 with a thermostat that looked like it was from the 60s. Our utility company was offering a rebate on the Nest Learning Thermostat, and it seemed like a good deal. The thermostat learned our patterns within a couple days, and got it just right. Beyond that, I love being able to warm up or cool down the house with my phone before we get home.
I would recommend this to a friend!
