I’m writing this review before the new google update locks everything down. This is a great smart thermostat. It integrates nicely with most things and is super easy to set up and use.

Almost perfect

Does what it's suppose to. Pretty easy to use. Have noticed a difference in comfort in the 3 days we've used it. Like all the intuitive features. Only slightly issue would be the temperature schedule. Time for events need to be set by the user, not the company. That would aid in making sure the temperature was perfect for the timeframe I designate.

For our system the instructions made the cooling settings blow heat and vice versa. This was corrected by swapping a couple wires W1 and Y1. That corrected the reversed behavior but would no longer engage the compressor to cool the air. The swapped wires had to be reverted, one of them moved to OB and blue disconnected completely. Finished with Y1 Yellow, G Green, OB Orange, W2 Brown, Rh Red.

I had the Nest Thermostat installed a few weeks ago and love all of the features. I especially enjoy the ease of controlling my thermostat remotely. I find that I can check to make sure I turned off the A/C or heat once I've left home and adjust accordingly.

My wiring, when entered into the compatibility app, said Nest would not work. After a call to support, the agent sent me a new wiring diagram and the Nest works!
