This makes a home a nest. My kids love it I love it the whole family loves it. We are very happy with everything that Google is producing. The thermostat gives me peace of mind because I can control it from anywhere from the shower, from the kitchen from anywhere. I'm always on the go and sometimes I forget to adjust the thermostat and I can do so using the app with ease. Google has taken the lead

Love my nest

Easy to set up. Very attractive looking. Sure was an upgrade from my last thermostat. I paired with amazon Alexa which makes it fun and easy. I also have on my smart phone. I can turn up and down on my phone when I'm away. I can check the temps when I'm gone and if it's cold and snowy can turn up before I get home. When I'm away it automatically turns down. Which is nice. Nice addition

Ease of Installation and Use

A colleague from work showed me the Nest on his phone and how easy Nest was to use. I watched a YouTube video about its functions and installation soon after. Since, my old thermostat was a few years old, unattractive and not really easy to program I decided to switch. I also got a great deal from the electric company if I bought through them. So the old thermostat was hard to understand. In fact, I thought I had a problem with the heating system and was ready to call a plumber, because of the clumsiness of the old thermostat. Shortly after installing the Nest according to the great instructions it came on and worked fine on the lower floor of the home. I soon realized I wired it incorrectly and it was controlling heat on the upper floor too where my wife watches television. My wife was sweating for days complaining about her menopause. She complained she shut the thermostat off and the baseboards were still hot. I soon realized I spliced into the upper floor heating by mistake and the Nest was controlling everything. Anyway, all is well now. The Nest works great. I do enjoy cranking it up to 80 degrees now and then while I'm at work and hearing my wife complain about her menopause. I plan on getting another for the upper floors too.

Great product

This is my second thermostat. When I bought the first Nest Thermostat 2 years ago the battery died. So this October (2018) I could not get the unit to recharge. I contacted Nest but after some troubleshooting they did send me a replacement unit. It works great. There is still one minor problem. The device sends an error when the furnace shuts off. Modern device with an older furnace. Ugg.

I have only had the next thermostat for a few days as I'm writing this review. But so far I'm very happy with it. I have only experienced one downside. The thermostat disconnected from the internet living me without the ability to use it away from home. Otherwise great product.

Extremely easy to set up, connect and use the app on my phone. I like the learning feature and that I can connect it to my similply safe security system so it knows when I’m in and out my home. It will lower the heat when I’m gone! I also love that I can control the heat from my phone and if I want to warm or the cool the house a few minutes before I get home I can tune it!
