Best investment so far in our new home

I am a 26 year old woman and have very little experience with handiwork. I installed this thermostat all by myself. All instructions were very clear and easy to follow. We all had fun helping the thermostat learn our preferences. It's also 90 degrees here and we've never felt more comfortable inside this house, while also not breaking the bank. Going to be getting the CO/Smoke detector next!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nest is a winner !
Easy to use at home or via cellphone.
We are seeing savings already after 2 months.
The learning mode makes it easy to save energy.
I'm not very tech savvy. Nest makes it easy !!

Don't be afraid

This is easy, easy to set up. The instructions are easy to follow.
1. Turn off breaker
2. Remove old thermostat cover
3. Take note of the wiring color and before labeling them with included labels look at old thermostat where the wire is attached. Is red on R, is yellow wire on Y, etc. If the old thermostat worked then label the wires as they are on old thermostat regardless of color.
4. Swap it

Great upgrade

Bought this as an upgrade since we are remodeling our 1992 home. I had heard this wasn’t the best smart thermostat but I preferred the looks of it plus already had the smoke and carbon monoxide Neat detectors. I am very pleased with the product and it was very easy to set up. Easier than I could have ever imagined. It also works better than my original dated thermostat. The sensors are a real plus

I read the other reviews and have to admit that set-up was a breeze. I like to be ableto control the temp. In my house while I'm away. Easy to access and my wife loves it too.
