Love it! Worth the money. Love the learning aspect. Had it for 2 months. Easy to install and saves you money!
Also can change the temp discreetly with the app to avoid arguments with the wife. She can put on all types of comfy clothing. You can only take off so many clothes. I’m sure most married guys can relate.

Company needs more training on unit

Lots of issues with installation. Took 3 techs Over 2 hours to get the unit on the wall and functioning. Later the Thermostat unit developed a memory for temperature kept going to 78 degrees with humidity in the high fifties which was not comfortable. Salesman came back out but had to call his supervisor in the office because he didn’t know how to program it. I think maybe extra training was necessary if you are going to use this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nest thermostat changes its temperature automatically due to some factors like, schedule, learned habits (auto schedule), and Home/Away Assist. You have an option to turn off the auto feature, so you can set your preferred temperature manually, and create your schedules for the thermostat to follow. Here’s how:
With the Nest app:
- Open the Nest app and select your Nest thermostat.
- Select Settings and then Auto-Schedule.
- Tap the switch to turn it off.
On your thermostat:
- Press the ring and choose Settings and then Nest Sense and then Auto-Schedule and then Off.
We also suggest turning off your Home/Assist, and clearing the existing schedules by selecting Settings, then Reset, then Schedule and Reset again.

Excellent product! Easy to install! Don’t have to worry about not hitting “run” on the old thermostat. App is easy to use.

Very easy to install and used

I was expecting there to be paper instructions on how to install the thermostat. Instead I downloaded the app and it walked me through step by step on how to connect everything. Took about 20 minutes to install the thermostat and another 5 minutes to learn how to operate it.

Just upgraded with Nest Protect and Thermostats. Setup was overly simple and product design is sleek. Love having it all on one app and peace of mind. Can’t wait to see how the learning feature helps...
