I purchased the Nest as a Christmas present for my girlfriend and we absolutely love it. Easy to set-up, beautiful and stylish addition to the home and very intuitive to use. The way it learns so quickly and then adjusts on it's own is incredible. I also got a Google Mini and use that to control it verbally.
We're very excited to add to our smart home start - it makes your home fun and cool!

Control temp in home while away

I love to he able to control the temperature inside my home if I am away. It also learns your away schedule and will save energy while you are away. This is the reaaon why I purchased. However I have yet to learn how to override the Nests learning schedule and is why the 4 stars and not 5. When I have company or I am not at work and at home, the Nest schedule thinks I am away. Still recommend

Love my Nest thermostat! I especially like the ease of programming and how your can link you phone so that Nest knows when you are out of the house. I have noticed a strong impact on my electric bill due to this feature. If you are planning to sell your home, the Nest thermostat paired with a smart doorbell will impress prospective buyers.
Tip: After you download the app, be sure to link your phone or you will not be able to control the temperature while you are away.

I love this thermostat!

We don’t really use the learning portion. We use Alexa to control everything in the house including my ring alarm system. I absolutely love the color change and the big numbers on the screen. That is a huge selling point. There are several other small features that I enjoy Also. Bottom line opening this box. it’s like Opening a brand new iPhone for the first time. Great job zest

Nest Learning Thermostat

I just got my new Nest Learning thermostat installed two days ago. It was very easy to install and set up using the on-screen menu. Once I downloaded the app to both my tablet and phone, both Android, it was easy to set up and go through the menus to adjust to my liking. It's too soon to see how the energy savings is working when I leave the home.

This is a fantastic device which looks classy and works fantastic and saves you money by controlling your homes temperature as you come and go. Once it is set it can tell when you come and go and turns down the temperature automatically when you leave and back on when you return. It was also very easy to set up initially!

Easier to set up than I thought. The old unit was harder to get off than putting this one in. Love the features but would love to be able to schedule easier on phone and have the ability to schedule the unit to turn off.

I have followed the Nest since first read about years ago. I thought the concept was timely, but never actually thought i would buy one. Well, i have to say that I really think this is as advertised and more. Easy to use at home and through the app.
