Easy Install & Great Looking And Robust Product

The install was straight forward and very nicely documented. Loved the quality of the part and the options available. Installed two of them under an hour total. Love the app to be able to monitor from a far and the ability to save money down the road. Great starting point for a smart home.

Ecobee got it better

Ecobee understands the common energy plans and adjusts automatically. Nest doesn't. Ecobee can adjust fan intervals of 5m. Nest's smallest is 15m. Ecobee sensors can be scheduled however you would like. Nest has only 3 pre set schedules for sensors. Ecobee has an away from home mode which relaxes the thermostat interval. Nest doesn't, you have to manually widen it or turn off your thermostat. Ecobee is considerably cheaper.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The best thermostat for people on the road

I love Nest as it helps me set my home at the proper temperature I want it when I'm there. It automatically turns off when I'm not home and gets things as I like it when I'm getting home. This is how smart homes should be

This thermostat is awesome. We use it at a remote location in our cabin. We use to huddle up in the cold waiting for catch up. Now we just open the APP turn it on and the place is warm before we get there. Additionally when I forget to turn it off no matter where I am at it can be dialed down. This is the most intuitive and convenient thermostat I have ever used. No more muti-time and date programs to save and watch for battery replacement.

This is the second one I buy. Only cus I moved It’s awesome after about a week it kinda learns your pattern and it adjusts with you it helps a lot

The Nest thermostat is an amazing product. It was very easy to install and set up. The look of the thermostat is very sleek, modern, and blends in very well with my home. Much rather than looking like a tool or just a thermostat it looks like a beautiful accessory. I own multiple Nest products and am very pleased with every single one.
