A great product. Easy to install and setup. Great for saving energy when your not home. Easy to access from phone to change settings before you get home. Very well designed and attractive.

I have done some research prior to my purchase of the Nest and it had exactly what I wanted in a smart thermostat. I am happy with my product and hope it lasts a long time.

Great product except...

I purchased a Nest third generation thermostat for two main reasons. 1, I wanted a thermostat to connect top WiFi and 2, I wanted the thermostat to be able to handle 3 stages of heat. The WiFi and remote handling of the thermostat are fantastic. It performs as expected. My except is the fact that it does not control three stages of heat on a heat pump, which is what I have. Thanks to a very good Nest Tech, I was able to set it up si that two stages are keeping my house warm while I am away, but it is not ideal as far as running my system efficiently. I am hoping that I can connect with the Tech’s at Nest and figure out a way to have it run three stages of heat.

Works great. Smart support but takes a lot of time to diagnose if you have a problem. Always resolved my problem though. Ease of use. Great app. Saves energy. Truly smart thermostat.

It works perfect, it looks great, it's easy to use, it connects with all major smart home platforms, and I haven't had to do anything after the initial setup (which was a breeze). I've owned mine for 2 years and don't have a single complaint.
