I’m loving the new thermostat!

I’m loving the new thermostat! It was fairly easy to set up although the first one arrived dead on arrival. Once the defective one was replaced it was smooth sailing as long as you have the patience for the install. We love our Nest learning thermostat and would recommend it to anyone with a heating and air-conditioning unit

Works as advertised

I already had a Nest E thermostat and liked it so much I took it with me when I moved to a house with 3 separate HVAC systems. I bought the Nest 3rd gen thermostat to install in the basement HVAC system, which is mostly used when guests visit, because the Nest 3rd gen will control a central dehumidifier whereas the Nest E only provides humidity information.

Great product

I have had this for a year and I really like being able to control my home with voice (Home mini) or phone app. It's nice to be able to check in when away and the home/away function is great. One odd thing is I just took their survey and a gmail address is apparently not a valid email. Lol

The gold standard

Since it’s first release I’ve had my eye on the Nest. I’ve used a cheaper alternative (one of the Honeywell smart thermostats) thinking it was probably an equivalent experience. I was mistaken.
From the materials to the user interface and features, Nest is thinking outside of the box to deliver real insight and value.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very satisfied with the Nest Thermostat. I have seen a decrease in my energy use and my gas bill was lower this past winter. We had a very cold winter, so the efficiency of this thermostat is much appreciated.
