Easy to use and to help save money

The Nest thermostat is very easy to set up and once you're done, you are pretty much all set. Just use it as normal, and it will do the rest.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works flawlessly. Easy to install and understand. I did use YouTube beforehand but am totally satisfied. Have had it a couple of weeks.

It has worked better than I anticipated. It looks sleek, and is very easy to use. I have it linked with me and my wife's phones, so it won't heat or cool the home when it's not needed.

Plain display not overly complicated. A very handy feature is the sensor that activates when you walk near and displays your settings. Easy to understand settings menu. It was an excellent purchase with no regrets.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Interface is less intuitive

I’ve owned Nest smart thermostats since before Google bought the company. I have to say the interface and connection to app has gotten way more complicated and buggy. Also the quality of the product has gone down. I had to return two units. The first just starting failing and not connecting to WiFi. The replacement had a indentation on the front surface towards the bottom black area and it’s battery would not hold a charge. Overall is a great system but just wish they wouldn’t mess around so much with the build quality and software.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Battery drain and Wi-Fi connectivity issues are most likely related to power issues. Your Nest Learning Thermostat gets its power from your HVAC system’s wiring. There are cases where these wires can't deliver enough power to support the Nest thermostat's features, as a result, they start draining the batteries and disconnect from your Wifi network. In such cases, installing a common(C) wire between your HVAC and Nest thermostats can resolve the battery drain problem. We recommend contacting a Nest Pro Technician to help check on your HVAC system and install a common (C) wire if needed.

Quick and easy setup

The thermostat was very easy to setup as the instructions in the box were clear and concise. The thermostat is very modern and sleek. I like when I walk by it that it lights up and shows me the current time temperature. I downloaded the Best app and I can control the thermostat from my phone. This was a great buy and I highly recommend it.
