At least our experience with installing a Nest thermostat in our home has been fabulous from ease of installation to using all its useful advanced technology. Installing it was way easier than you could imagine. Did I install it properly first time, no. But with its advanced technology and guidance it was like having someone there telling me what to do. Remote access is an unbelievable convenience

Simply the best at saving money

I got a Nest as a welcome present when we moved. I was never sure if it would work because my old thermostat only had three wires, but the new house had four. Just to be safe I watched a couple of YouTube videos and BINGO! it works. I love how it reminds you of the temp whenever I walk by.
My question is I pluged the red AC wire as instructed. How will it provide power to the heat mode in Dec?

My family moved to a house that needed a lot of updating. One of the first things we wanted to do was to upgrade the A/C, furnace and my wife and both agreed the Nest was the only product we would want to use. We have friends that had one and they loved it. Upon installation, it works great. The performance has actually gotten better the longer its been active with the learning feature. Thumbs up!
