Nest Smart Thermostat 3rd Gen

We love our nest smart thermostat 3rd generation. It was easy to install and operate. We have two and they have memorized our evening and daytime temperatures so we don't have to manually reset. The app is easy to use and is wonderful to have when we are away from the house. The energy rebate was a nice as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My Nest

This product is very easy to use and looks natural in your home. Does not distract from your home furnishings. You can adjust your temps from anywhere and it learns your temp habits. It will go from A/C to Heat without you having to change it once you set it up. Talk to your HVAC technician.

Love our Nest

Everything about the Nest thermostat has been simple. Installation, setup and everyday use. It looks modern, the app is great and it has already saved us money on our heating bill. We have even added a Nest Hello to our home turning our boring little house into a smart, fun home!

Every Home Needs a NEST

Besides saving money with NEST thermostat, I get rebates from my Electric and Gas companies. I'll be saving money with quick return on investment

Features do not work and are disappointing.

Cannot link two telephone numbers via NEST App. Don't agree with having to add Google Home App to make this possible.Don't like that cannot add another person via Google Home App unless the person has a Google Account.The Home/Away feature does not work very well.Do not like that cannot display the current temperature and target temperature at the same time.Wake on Approach does not work. .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Migrating your Nest account to a Google account provides you with the security features not available with simply having a Nest account. You also get the benefits of integrating your Nest devices with Google´s advanced ecosystem using the Google Assistant.

The temperature screen on your Nest Learning Thermostat will display both the current ambient temperature as a number on the outer ring, while the target temperature is boldly displayed in the center of the screen. Worst experience...not worth my money

Nest has a mind of its own. Beyond too smart even if you turn off all its functions and use it in manual mode. Save your money and get another programmable thermostat.

Hi Crystal, thanks for letting us know of the issue with your Nest Learning Thermostat. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the Auto-Schedule issue.

If you haven't tried yet, performing a factory data reset on Nest Learning Thermostat may help fix the issue. First, it's important that you should remove your thermostat from your account in the app before using this option to reset to defaults. Keep in mind that resetting your Nest Learning Thermostat will erase all data, and we recommend writing down the wiring information so you can easily enter your thermostat's wiring if needed. On your thermostat, go to Settings > Nest settings icon > and then Equipment. You may want to do this for other settings such as system heating type and Safety Temperature as well. To reset your Nest Learning Thermostat, follow the steps below:
- Press on the display for your Nest Learning Thermostat.
- Go to Settings > and then Reset > then choose All Settings.
- You may need to set up your Nest Learning Thermostat after it finishes the reset process.
