new thermostat

I received a nest 3 gen thermostat for a Christmas present, my first thought was good, I needed to update the thermostat I have. The thermostat works great, however It did take nearly 3 hours to install, with over 2 hours on the the phone with tech support.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Investment Toy Ever

I bought the nest thermostat as part of a process to smartify my home. Most of the things we are adding are quality of life features and security add-ons. This thermostat however far exceeding my expectations of its deliverables. The second day we had it, it sent me an email to warn me the humidity level in my house was lower than the Sahara desert (seriously), and it paid for itself in one month.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this product. It’s very simple to use, the contractor I contacted from the site was very helpful. It looks very sleek and is a great addition to my home. Thank you Nest! I’m excited to be blento control the temperature from the comfort of my bed!!

Installed in my fifth wheel

After some time planning my approach and buying relays and power supplies, these thermostats work nicely on my Fuzion toy hauler 12v system, I’ve also got them connected to my generator control for when it’s in storage, they stay connected to a mobile hotspot that stays in the unit so I always know what’s going on. Once I found the setting for high and low fan on the nest, life was good!

Very easy to install and setup done within 30 minutes. It is very attractive and much smaller then my previous thermostat and functions as expected. Waiting to see how the learning portion works out after a couple of weeks.
