Not happy

The thermostat has too large of a range before turning on the AC. When set at 70, it doesn’t cycle on until temp hits 73 then cools all the way down to 68 or 69 before turning it off. That’s a swing of up to 5 degrees, way too much.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Nest thermostat learns how quickly your home heats and cools, because no two homes are exactly the same. And it considers the outside weather conditions. Whether it’s very cold or very hot, your home may take longer to reach the temperature you want. So, a Nest thermostat should figure out how early it needs to turn your system on to get your home to the target temperature on time. And it should learn when to turn your system off to prevent overshooting the target temperature.

Great and easy to install

My husband installed this and stated it was fairly simple. Love the look and ease of use. Still getting used to the Nest family apps and figuring all that out. It has only been installed for week so I can't say too much more about it.

Great product

I wanted to replace our old thermostat on our millivolt system and was looking for a smart thermostat. After reading various reviews I settled on the Neat learning thermostat. Not sorry that I did, it is a great product solidly built, not flimsy, the onboard software is simple to use, and installation was a breeze, the app even help if one is not technically inclined. I definitely recommend.

First and foremost, we love the ease of use and setup! We have two of these in the house now and could not be happier with them. Sleek design and user friendly app makes this a must have! You don’t know what you’re missing until you have one of these!

I wasn't sure about the Nest when I first purchased it simply because I wasn't sure just how difficult it would be to install and set up. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of the install as well as the set up. I was able to install the nest in less then 2 minutes and have it up and running in less then 5. It runs very smoothly and is very easy to navigate (which was another fear of mine)
