Nest 3rd gen thermostat

I would have given the nest thermostat a five but it would not pick up wifi. The good part is customer service was awesome and replaced thermostat as it was covered under waranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great piece of technology

I like the way it looks. Installing it and setting it up was a breeze. The nest thermostat should be more compatible with other smarts hubs. Nest is getting less compatible since they changed the login from “nest” to google.

Great Addition to Re-Model

Purchased this thermostat to replace very old and ugly one as part of a re-model. The sleek appearance is great. Install and set up we’re a breeze ( and I’m not handy). Website was helpful answering a wiring question. Took about an hour from start to finish. Haven’t had the thermostat long but so far it works great.

3rd time the charm!

My current Nest is working well! My first one "broke" after 2 months (lost ability to find wifi), got a replacement, broke (same problem) 3 days later. Got my 3rd one 2 weeks ago and so far so good! Love the product and hopeful that I just got into a bad batch of thermostats.

The Nest really surpassed our expectations on how easy it is to use and very easy to install. We really love the app for the smart phone. It allows us to adjust temps while we are away from home or even from another location in the house if we don't want to walk to where the Nest is. Overall very pleased and would highly recommend!!

Great capability in a small attractive package

We’ve had the Nest learning thermostat for a little over a year in addition to Nest outdoors cameras and smoke detectors. The thermostat has a lot of capability packed into a solid device with a smaller footprint on our wall than most standard thermostats. It nests well with the other products in the smartphone app to give me a good idea that my home is as secure and energy efficient as possible.
