Good - Make it Great

I originally bought Nest so I could monitor and adjust my thermostat from anywhere in the world. It did not disappoint. From learning our habits to the app, Nest does it all...except a simple task like running the fan. My old, tech-less thermostat did this with a flick of the switch. From what I read, Nest requires a separate wire. Maybe a software update will fix this!

So simple and sleek

The Nest thermostat was so easy to set up. All equipment was provided and the mobile app walks you through the install and setup with amazing graphics so it’s a cinch even if you don’t know electronics like this normally.
The interface is sleek and so customizable. Love the ability to use a mobile app from a distance to save energy while we are away or warm/cool house before we arrive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Installed in less than 30 minutes

My 2 year old programmable was starting to flake out. So purchased the Nest to replace it. From unboxing to finishing up was less than 30 minutes. The step by step instructions were very easy to follow. The ability to scan the hardware makes it so very simple. I had only 5 wires to connect so the wiring was quite simple as well. The step by step menu on the Next device is very intuitive and easy.

Who Needs A "Nest Pro"?

They said it was so easy to install that a caveman could do it! Okay, so that's an old insurance ad, but they weren't wrong. As I began my install, the compatibility page said to"drop your screwdriver and call a Nest Pro." I dropped my screwdriver only to research my issue. After some online research, I realized that I could still install my Nest Learning Thermostat myself. So, I did.
