easy installed where previous thermostat was. excellent style and efficiency. have 2 installed and can maintain control from phone on upstairs unit. Love it !!! and would recommend to everyone !!!

Upgraded to Gen 3 from Gen 1

Over the '18 Holiday season I received a deal from my local utility company to get some price cuts so I upgraded my generation 1 to a generation 3.
I like the added features of the 3 related to the display and as i had with my original I am still doing everything I can to keep more money in my pocket.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the newest addition to our Google home

This thermostat replaced an ancient one in our home (which had a little lever to guesstimate the heat setting). I love having a digitized version that I can easily control from my phone.

Look out for a heat pump!

Not knowing that my A/C system had a heat pump had my original wiring set up blowing out HOT air instead of cool. For someone in Florida where a heat pump on a system is rare it had me frustrated when I originally I stalled. However after looking up my system and re-wiring for a heat pump had me back on track. Since that hiccup it’s been smooth sailing. Remote start A/C FTW!!

Best thermostat ever!

This is the 5th thermostat I've had in my house in 10-12 years, it will be my last. I love this thing! Total control from anywhere, anytime. Easy setup and even easier function. If you have a newer HVAC system, this thermostat will show you exactly what your system is capable of and could save you more money than you ever dreamed and it's just a thermostat, but it's so much more! Thank you Nest!
