Default when internet is unreliable

My internet is so unreliable in my area outside of town and feared I might be wasting my money But the Nest thermostat has learned my habits and maintains them even when the internet fails. So now I have reliability in my home

Great product. Was easy to install and looks great on the wall. Has considerably saved us on our energy consumption. I've recommended the Nest Thermostat to several people. Would buy again.

Setup of the thermostat was very easy and the UI is intuitive. Only been using a few days so will see how it goes in terms of helping with energy usage. I do wish you didn’t have to use Google Home to add a user to control the thermostat. Was a bit frustrating getting it set up on my wife’s phone. I also think some users will get confused having two apps available to control one device.

Easy to Install and Easy to Operate

No need to fight with antiquated thermostats of the past anymore, where you need two advanced degrees in Fortran to program them, and then reprogram when the batteries die. Essentially set it and forget it with the Nest, and if you need to change something, just do it from the App.

This is a great product. works perfect with alexa, and the web page on your phone, app is not too good, you don't need it anyway the web page does it all. go slow and easy during setup.
it is years ahead of the rest we all have in our homes. spin the dial to the temp you want then adjust for change and the nest remembers what you want. that part is very spooky, but cool.
