Great product

Great thermostat! Smart and learns your routine and make the necessary adjustments. After first couple of weeks, you never have to worry about setting up the temp. on the thermostat again. It just does its thing. Nest also sends you energy reports monthly so you know the performance of the thermostat. Overall, I think the product pays for itself within the first year.

One of the coolest things in my house! So technically advanced and loves to save you money and the planet! Easy to install yourself and very user friendly! Love the ease of everything and love the modern, sleek, simple look of the device! Looking forward to finding more ways to save!!!

I do HVAC controls for a living, and this thing is amazing. If the products I install in commercial buildings were this easy, I'd have a much easier time hiring training and installing product. The thermostat works very well and senses humidity as well as temperature, is somewhat easy to schedule, and gives good information. I wish commercial buildings had applications like this.

The Nest thermometer is not accurate. It is off by more than 2 degrees all the time.

There may be a small temperature swing because your thermostat will wait to turn on your system until it gets to about 1ºF (0.5ºC) warmer or cooler than the temperature you’ve set. This is to prevent unnecessary wear on your system and help save energy. We got the 3rd generation Nest thermostat and from installing it to downloading the app to using it, i can't believe how easy it was. I look forward to tracking our usage and working on energy savings!
