Should come standard in ALL new homes!

I have always wanted to get a Nest, and I finally was able to get one in March. All I have to say is, WOW! The first month I had it, my energy bill was reduced by 60%. This is remarkable in it self, but even more so because it was during the stay at home order, and we live in Houston, so it is already getting pretty humid and hot here. Definitely will be taking this when we move to a new home!
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you prefer to use your Nest Learning Thermostat as a traditional thermostat, you may disable the Auto-Schedule learning feature. We recommend following the steps below:
a. Turn off Auto-Schedule learning. When you turn off Auto-Schedule, your existing schedule will remain, but your thermostat will stop learning from your future adjustments:
With the Nest app:
- Open the Nest app and select your Nest thermostat.
- Select Settings > and then Auto-Schedule.
- Tap the switch to turn it off.
On your thermostat:
Press the ring and choose Settings > and then Nest Sense > and then Auto-Schedule and then Off.
b. Clear your existing schedule (optional): If you want to completely erase your existing schedule, here’s how:
- On your thermostat, select Settings > and then Reset > and then Schedule.
- Depending on which Nest thermostat you have, select either Reset or Clear.
c. Setup your manual schedule. Manually creating or editing the schedule will let your thermostat change your home’s temperature at fixed times that you’ve set.
With the Nest app:
- Open the Nest app and select your Nest thermostat.
- Select Schedule.
- Create or adjust temperature set points to your liking.
On your thermostat:
- Go to the schedule screen on your thermostat.
- If you are using a 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen Nest Learning Thermostat: Press the ring and choose Schedule.
- If you are using Nest Thermostat E: Press the ring and choose Settings > and then Schedule.
- Create or adjust temperature set points to your liking.
