Why can't everything work like this

I love my nest. I wish I had one my whole life. I will never have a home without one now. I love setting the temp from bed or work. I love the learning mode, because it seems to know how cold or hot we want it when we're home or gone. It cost about 3x the other kind of thermostat I had but I like it 10x better.

Amazing!

We bought one initially for a rental property and it was so easy to install and operate, we bought another one for a vacation home. Now, we want to get one for our home. It was so easy to install and working it and the app is a piece of cake. So glad to be able to control it from anywhere. The first night, I woke up a little warm, my phone was right by my bed, so I picked up my phone, turned down the AC and never had to get out of bed. This thing rocks!

Recommend the Thermostat

I recommend the Nest Thermostat. When I bought a house in New England I replaced the 1960s manual mercury switches that were in the home with Nests. The house had 4 heat zones and a central air so I had to buy 5 Nests which wasn't cheap, but it's been nice over the years.
It's easy to add a guest so they can control the heat.

Easy and a powerful money saving tool

I have been using Google Nest for a while and found it to be very useful to not only control my HVAC but also build intelligence on our usage to avoid making schedules and still saving more on energy costs.Lately, I have been using some advanced features such as multi-zone and multi-staging, and they work great. Nest also injects an artificial delay if I am suddenly swinging between heater and AC to keep my HVAC systems, especially my Heat pump safe.The only thing I could ask for more is for multi-room sensors as the Nest location may not be the exact place you want your thermostat.

This Nest thermostat is great. Very easy and simple to install. It will monitor the activity in the home. Over time it will adjust the heating and cooling to save money. It can even switch between cooling and heating when you get those crazy temperature swings in one day.
