Still blows my mind that when the Nest Protect senses smoke, sends a signal to the Thermostat to cut off heater/air conditioner/fans! So in the event of an actual fire, it won't spread faster through the ventilation system. An awesome bonus feature to find out down the road buying Nest products.

Best purchase yet

I purchase two of the nest learning Thermostats and it is so convenient. I don't have to worry about whether I turned down the heat after I left home. I can control the thermostat no matter where I am.
I also purchase 3 sensors for different areas of the home. If your thermostat is not located in an ideal location, the sensor can be program to be the default thermostat for that location.

Nest the Best

In my opinion Nest exceeded everyone's expectation on what to expect on thermostats. When I purchased my some what modern home, It had a Honeywell thermostat that every time you turn the heat on, the AC unit would also turn on. Making it an unpleasant experience. I even went on YouTube just to learn how to simply operate this unit, but I was unable to. Finally after almost 3 years, I had enough and purchased the Nest. BEST choice EVER.

We live in an area that the temperature fluctuates, but with the Nest our house is finally able to stay at a constant temperature. Without breaking the bank.

I was skeptical when I first bought the Nest Thermostat, because I wondered if it was really a worth what I paid for it. Well, after 2 weeks of using it I am so glad that I got it. It is truely worth the money because of the extra comfort, convenience and energy savings. I love it.

Sleek look; easy to setup and use.

I set up two Nest thermostats in my house to replace older, non-learning devices. Install was easy (especially by using the Nest app). Both work great! My power and gas consumption have both gone down despite a really cold winter.
(*Note: Don’t forget to check with your utility companies to see if they will give you a discount for having a smart thermostat. Many companies do!)
