It works wonderfully. You can see what temperature you're home is when you're away. You can turn it up or down from your phone even if you're not home. Love it

Control your nest

Installing the nest thermostat has allowed me to control my energy consumption anywhere on the go. It's nice to log in and adjust your thermostat. Also gives you a report of how much time your hvac has run

Remote sensor is a welcome addition in v3

We own a couple of older homes with unsophisticated HVAC systems. We've always struggled with maintaining comfortable temperatures that correspond with how the houses are used throughout the day. We want the temperature right on the main floor during the day, and on the 2nd floor at night for sleep. The addition of remote sensor functionality in v3 does the trick!

It just works

Replaced two old digital thermostats with 2 nest. One already had the common hooked in the other I need to hook the common up in the Furnace so that took a few minutes extra. Other than that I was up in running in less than an hour. If you want to be able to control your temps from anywhere than this is the product for you. Interface is easy to use and integrates with my existing smart home tech
