Very cool product I was a little nervous spending that much on a thermostat. But it is very nice and super easy to install.

Wish we'd gotten one sooner!

We recently replaced our old thermostat with the Nest Learning Thermostat & it took the technician a matter on minutes to instruct me on how to use it and I've had no problems or questions on how to use it since. I love the fact that it's learned when we turn the heat up & down so I rarely have to change it now. And the phone app is great! I can change the temperature from anywhere!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best thermostat

I have purchased 3 so far very good . But I just read that customer can not change battery that only last 2 years if that’s true I will not recommend it to anyone, it’s to expensive for that to be. Thermostat last for many years mine lasted 20 years and cost was not like nest. You must correct that for me to recommend nest. If I knew that I would not have purchased 3. So let’s fix that part .

Excellent product , easy to use and can save energy cost

Very good product. Mobile app is very helpful and in long run it saves energy costs. The warning message if system is running too long gives opportunity to adjust thermostat settings or position of other temperature sensors .

Set up was a cinch, and changing the temperature with a twist of the dial is SOOOOO much better than searching for buttons in the dark.
I also LOVE the foresight feature that illuminates as you approach. I see the current temp and the temp setting every time I pass by.

I am also amazed at how it’s learning our routine. Turns down at night and back up in the morning. All on its own.

Installation Difficult

Nest touts easy installation but that wasn’t the case for us. After over an hour on a call with the help center we gave up and had an HVAC Pro install it. The whole reason we got it was a credit from the power company. Our ROI is several years away at best. Other than that we like the features an it’s easy to use once you have all the apps talking to each other.
I would recommend this to a friend!
