This thermostat is perfect. So easy to use, great app to control it, can set a repeating schedule with the app, the app learns from my temperature preferences, the thermostat works great with Alexa. Simply an amazing product!

Great product but not a ringer

I have the greatest aspirations for my Nest Thermostat. BUT it took two trips from three different Heating and Air conditioning professionals to get it set up, programmed correctly, explain it so I can be simply functional with it. The fold out instructions are deceptively misleading. Yes go ahead and get one or two as I did. But make sure you hire a pro or a computer engineer to fire it up.

Digging the flexability

I had power issues installing this in my older home. Once I figured out the magic 'blue' wire, everything started working. Now I would have to say I am liking it. I love the ability to monitor and control it from anywhere that I have network connectivity.

I found the thermostat very easy to install. After a year and a half of use I now own two since I was so happy with the first one. The Home/Away feature is what sold me on the unit. With that enabled I save on heating and cooling when we are away from our home for an extended trip or vacation; that justifies upgrading from my decades old, programmable thermostats.
