2wire thermostats

If you have heating and cooling a/c on a two wire thermostat then you have a proprietary thermostat on the wall and a matching receiver in the Furnace.
To eliminate above pull a new 5 wire thermostat wire from furnace to wall thermostat. Very easy on a single storey house.

best thing I could have ever done for my home

This thermostat is amazing, easy to use, and really saves me money! The tech support was super helpful when I was installing it, (because myself have never installed one before) and got me up and running quick! It has been a breeze to use, especially with the app. Eco mode had learned my routine and saved me quite a bit of money on my power bill! Worth every penny!

Great Product, Great Value

I received my Nest Learning Thermostat as part of my solar power purchase. They wanted to install an Ecobee, but I insisted on Nest. The solar company had the Nest installed for me, but it seemed very straightforward. We ran into one hiccup with the Nest not connecting to my wifi, and that turned out that it was my modem/router stopping the Nest. After correcting the DHCP and IPv6 settings on my modem, the Nest connected immediately and has worked ever since. We're really happy with it and are looking forward to being as energy and cost-saving as we can be.

Great Smart Thermostat

Great thermostat! Does it's job well while helping lower costs. I like that I can control it either via the app or using my voice assistants (Alexa and Google Home). Love that I can use the Rush Hour feature and be paid for using it by my electric company. It also looks amazing on the wall.

Once this thermostat was installed, we love it. We had one for several years and liked the way it operaqted so whenwe saw a good buy on this one, we decided to buy it.

Welcome addition

I loved my nest 2nd gen, I upgraded to the 3rd gen for the sensors, I now have the Nest on the main floor, and a sensor in the basement and second level. this allow me to set the Nest to only control the temp in the basement while I work then swap to the nest on the mainfloor when everyone gets home, then the second level for bed rather then trying to set everything from the temp on the main floor

Nest learning thermostat

I had one for 2 years and this year it just stopped working. Worked great for 2 years. Bought another to replace it. If it only last 2 years I won't replace it again. Too expensive to last only 2 years
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
