We replaced a standard Honeywell with the nest. The biggest thing for me was to be able to control the thermostat remotely. The fan controls are not as good as the other thermostat where you can set the fan to on or circulate, there doesn’t seem to be an option for that but otherwise I have no complaints so far. I like the aesthetics of the device and the wall plate saved me from having to make a repair before mounting the thermostat which was also helpful. We tried a Honeywell wifi thermostat before returning it for the nest mainly because of the poor app interface on that one. I’d recommend the nest to anyone looking for simplicity and ease.

Was looking to add a smart thermostat and after much research I felt the Nest thermostat was the way to. I'm a little apprehensive when it comes to installing electrical equipment, but the installation instructions provided in the app are OUTSTANDING!! It made installation a breeze, I was able to install two thermostats in about 40 min. The most well written set of instructions I've encountered.

Better than expected

Easy hook up and love the Home and Away feature. I live alone and am gone a lot for work and I set my own schedule so I don't have a usual routine. So Home and Away is by far the best way for me to save energy without the hassle of trying to remember to adjust the unit manually.

Purchased 2 Nest thermostats via PSEG. They have a terrific interactive step-by-step tutorial on the App and I Love how they look and how easy they are to operate by hand or the APP. I also think they are much more accurate at sensing the temperature b/c my rooms are cooling more equally now.

I have owned all generations and I can personally say Nest and the amazing team they have are doing things the right way. Listening to the customers and making things easier and easier. As technology grows companies like Nest are following the right steps to ensure the customer is always happy. Keep up the great work, trust me anyone reading this review you will not regret getting the products.

The Nest 3 was very easy to install. Getting it set up on wifi and the android app was a very simple and quick process. The thermostat functions definitely help to save energy for both heating and cooling.
