gorgeous addition to the home

The Nest Learning Thermostat is gorgeous. It has a very high quality feel and appearance. The nest app made install absolutely simple. Having the option to show weather or clock on the display when you get near it is convenient and beautiful. The feeling is more of a statement than just appliance. I would say it is the Apple iPhone of additions to any home.

Easy install, easy to use

I wish that I had purchased this sooner. It took about 20 minutes to install, half of that was just me going very slowly, and the full setup was done in less than 45 minutes. It just works and the app is simple but responsive. The eco mode and being able to start the A/C while we're driving home from work were the big draws for us and they work flawlessly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had an A/C Co. to replace my system & they told me the NEST thermostat was included FREE. Installed quickly with some instructions from Tech, booklet provided & what the app name is so I can download it. All actions taken smoothly, efficiently & to my understanding. So far, it's winter & all functionality great. The true test will be summer as my AC usage is greater since I'm on top floor. I love the app because when I lost power & it was restored, I just had my smart phone under the covers & could see the temps rising without going into LR to view thermostat & kept WARM... Thx!

It is rare that sophisticated technology is combined with beautiful and elegant packaging and intuitive human interface. The Nest Learning Thermostat is all of that.
In my experience with this product, I found no weaknesses in packaging, product design, ease of installation and setup, performance, and interface to my other smart home products.
I give this a solid 10/10!

Love our Nest Thermostat

We now have two of these in our house. One for the main house and the second for or guest apartment. The first one we put in on the remodeling of our house and like it so well that we have changed the guest apartment to it’s own central air system and got rid of the split system with issues. We like to control both remotely and still the guests can control it once they get in apartment.

I love this product. It’s really saved me time and money. I love the app and the ability to change the temperature from anywhere. The only improvement I would suggest is to adjust the range from 1 degree to where we can choose the range. I have an older furnace and it has to continue to run after it reaches temperature to cool. So I often set the temperature two degrees below where I want it.
