I love it!

I love the look and the ease of this product. It took no time at all to familiarize myself with the app and get my schedule times set up. It has so many great features. I especially like the eco mode that helps save while away from home. I also like the fact that it tells the temperature outside and also what the humidity level is inside. I could go in and on. I hope this helps somewhat!

Beautiful appearance

The nest thermostat is beautiful, elegant and high tech appearing all in one. Easy and quick to install with excellent installation instructions and appropriate install hardware included. The only reason that I gave it a 4 star rating was for the programming process after the installation. That’s where it can get a little vague/confusing. It took me 1-2 hours to finish the programming process.

So Far So Good

I just finished installing my Nest thermostat. The installation was a breeze, with all the DIY from Nest it took me literally 10 mins to install.
So far, it's been good. It's only been 2 days since I've installed it, thumbs up.

This truly is the best packaged, best wiring diagram, easiest mounting and the simplest set up
Of ANY thermostat I have ever used. Apps work perfectly on phone or iPad. It also looks good on the wall.

The nest learning thermostat is a step up to any thermostat I have used in the past. The ease of use and numerous options make it a smart and great addition to any home that has a compatible heating/cooling system. Whether it is the ability to control the thermostat with connected apps while in or away from home, or the customizable features that control the separate function of the entire system throughout the home, the nest thermostat is smart and enables me to heat and cool my home more efficiently.

I have not seen a thermostat where you have to renew the low speed fan every 12 hours.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi cljohnso, thanks for sharing your feedback on Nest Learning Thermostat. We’re sorry for the inconvenience it could have caused you, having to renew the low speed fan every 12 hours.
If you have a system with a dedicated fan wire, you can manually turn on the fan with the app or your thermostat, or set a fan schedule. For example, you can set the fan to run all night and automatically turn off in the morning. Please see the steps below that might be helpful:
Set a daily fan schedule with the thermostat:
- Press your thermostat ring to open the Quick View menu.
- Select Settings icon.
- Select Fan.
- Choose Schedule.
- Set how long you’d like your fan to run per hour, or set it to always run.
- Select what hours of the day you’d like your fan to run. If you have a multi-speed fan, you can select a fan speed for your fan schedule.
- Select Done to set your schedule.
- Your fan will turn on automatically each day for the time and duration you’ve selected.
Set a daily fan schedule with the Nest App:
- Tap the thermostat you’d like to control from the home screen.
- Tap Settings icon.
- Select Fan Schedule.
- For Every day, tap the slider to turn your fan schedule on or off.
- Set how long you’d like to run your fan per hour. You can choose 15, 30 or 45 minutes of run time, or select 60 minutes to run your fan for the whole hour.
- Choose what time you want your fan to start running, and when you’d like your fan to stop running this schedule. If you have a multi-speed fan, you can select a fan speed for your fan schedule.
-Your fan will turn on automatically each day for the time and duration you’ve selected. You can always edit or disable your schedule at any time from the fan menu.
