To complicate, hard to use and set up .

I’ve had this thermostat for about a year and have had no problems. It took me a while to realize the “learning” feature is turned on at the factory in default settings. My schedule is extremely erratic and this feature doesn’t work for me. No big deal—that feature is off and the Nest is extremely convenient to change temp or on/off from a phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Product – Migration Sucks

Great product, actually awesome product. I am now caught on the fence between NEST vs GOOGLE NEXT Migration. It won't let me add my son to our account because we use G-Suite to manage our emails via a personalized domain. Google Nest doesn't recognize or allow this so now I can't add my son without removing and resetting up my wife and me under NEW Gmail email addresses. Annoying!!

Awesome product

I really recommend this product. It is very easy to set up and works really seamlessly. I set mine up by myself in about 30 minutes, it was super easy to connect to the app, my google home and my amazon echo. I wish it had HomeKit integration, but that is more of a “nice to have” rather than a “must have”. Looking forward to adding future nest products to our home.

Love Nest

I have had my Nest Thermostat for a few months now, and I love it. It looks great in my house, saves energy, learned me very quickly and super easy to install, set up and overall usage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It won't behave

Keeps switching to ECO even though I have ECO turned off. Very frustrating since I dont know it switched until temperature is unbearable.

The Eco mode can be activated by different factors. Here are some settings you can check to make sure that your Eco Temperatures won’t activate automatically.
- Turn off your Home/Away Assist. Nest Learning Thermostat will automatically switch to Eco if it senses that nobody’s home.
- If you want to keep the Home/Away Assist active, make sure to use your phone location to determine if somebody’s home.

FIrst 24 hours have been great

I've had it for less than 24 hours. It was super easy to install. I did it in about 30 minutes all by myself and was all cleaned up and put away before hubby got home from work. Set up app and am controlling temp while the new thermostat learns. So far I am very happy.

A must have

Absolutely a must for anyone with a crazy schedule and you find yourself traveling a lot. I can adjust the temperatures prior to getting home from a long trip. It learns your patterns for what temperatures you like at night and without having to do it yourself, the Nest has already started cooking your house. It’s an awesome product and definitely worth the money!
I would recommend this to a friend!
