Great thermostat

Loved my NEST. Would've kept it but the new TRane xv20i system we installed required it's own preparatory thermostat

I know it's supposed to be efficient and save money, but I've been change the temp and running the heat all day, just to play with it! So fun to control it from my bed, from the car, or even from my chair a few feet away but I don't want to get up to change it by hand. Love it!

Excellent thermostat

As a retired HVAC technician I have installed and worked on basic Honeywell mercury yo-yo thermostats, mechanical clock thermostats, and programmable thermostats. The Nest is the best design I have ever seen.

Great thermostat. Easy to install. Saves you money by auto adjusting itself after learning your settings if you enable that feature. I recommend to anyone looking to upgrade or that is building a new home.

The Nest is very easy to set up with a lot of neat features. The price is very reasonable for the amount of features it offers. Very satisfied with the style and different options of colors. Love the app and being able to monitor the home when away. I recommend the Nest product.

Learning Thermostat is the only one you should buy

Learning Thermostat is the only one you should buy. Spend the extra money on this, the cheaper model is harder to install due the need for an extra wire that was absent in my wall. I had to send the cheaper model back and get this model instead. It works very well, and can be controlled from the internet. We came home from a trip and were able to crank up the heat before getting home from the airport. A warm house was nice.

Simple setup, beautiful and reliable device

The Nest thermostat is a must have for your smart home. Yes, it is quite expensive, but there are usually local utility incentives that can offer money back to offset the cost. The setup could not be easier and does not require you to be super handy. The features, such as the ability to program schedules, a function that reverts your furnace to "eco" temperatures automatically when you leave, and outside weather info at a glance (via the Farsight function) will absolutely save you money. On top of all that, the thermostat looks extremely sleek. Bottom line, just get one if you don't already have one. You won't regret it.
