I purchase the nest since we often forget to turn the heat or air off and the only ones that enjoy it at times are my dogs. I purchased the nest so I could turn off/on the unit anytime from anywhere. It was easy and relatively quick to install. Just read and watch some videos prior and there you go.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pricey, but worth the splurge

It's a lot of cash, but I like having the ability to know that my house is using as little electricity as possible in the winter. Plus it's shiny new tech and I like that.

Love it! Most practical and useful technology I've bought since the Roomba. It's everything a thermostat should be and more. Large temperature numbers, outdoor weather temp, make adjustments handsfree with a Google mini, etc, etc. Don't know how I lived without. It made my house the most comfortable it's ever been in it's 18 year lifespan. My old Dumb thermostat was a dinosaur.

Great product

I got the product 2 and a 1/2 years ago. It was a little difficult to set up at 1st, but the instructions are very good and it was really my issue. The performance has been great and I really enjoy working with the app to set up my schedules and control the thermostat.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The instructions in the box are some of the best product instructions I have seen in years. The
thermostat was out of the box and operational within an hour. The product is very well designed and built. The built in level, the extra mounting plate, the hood up of the wiring is well thought out.
In the 48 hours it has been running my wife and I have noticed a more even cooling temp
