Great device

I replaced a thermostat in a new house that was 13 ft off the ground and close to impossible to manage. Installing it was simple, never having done it before. End result, it is exactly what a wished it to be, look and ease of use. Being able to children it from my phone Andie and outside my house is awesome. Looking forward to many years with this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Offline almost all the time

Offline almost all the time. Super frustrating looks fine until trying to make a change then says offline xx minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for sharing your feedback with us. We can see how having the Thermostat offline most of the time can be frustrating. This is not the ideal experience we want you to have. Below or some tips that we can provide to help troubleshoot the issue:
-Check that you can get online with another device in your home. If you’re using a cell phone, turn on Airplane mode and then turn on Wi-Fi to make sure you don’t use cellular data to test your connection.
If you can’t connect, try using another device to double-check. If you can’t connect with any device, contact your internet service provider to check the service status in your area.
-Check the status of the Nest service. If the Nest service is down, you may see “The Nest service can’t be reached right now” in the Nest app.
-Check that you have the latest app version. Visit the Google Play Store and tap Update if one is available.

On my third replacement

This thermostat is great when it works. Key word when it works. I have had 3 thermostats replaced for failure to connect to the app and wifi. Then due to covid getting tech supports help to verify the product is defective took over a month. Let’s see how long this one last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can't say enough great things about my nest. Have found significant savings on my electrical bill since installed. Like the fact that I can adjust the nest remotely. Love it so much I purchased a few for my office as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

new thermostat

replaced old thermostat with a nest. Now I can control temp settings in the house even when im not home. Thermostat and app are both user friendly, too early to tell but I hope to save on heating and cooling with it.

Excellent thermostat, the farsight feature is great to have. Absolutely love the Nest app and the ability to control the thermostat from anywhere on my phone. Great purchase, and will be purchasing more Nest products in the future.
