I bought this a few weeks ago and have been very impressed so far. I had a top end CB system but it felt like you were always tuning the antenna which had to be very large. This unit has around twice the range with an antenna that is a fraction of the size.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got purchased this radio a few weeks ago and haven't gotten to fully test it yet. However we did get one test in. With line of sight, or close to it, this thing reaches out a long distance. With houses and hills in the way distance reduces a lot, but that is just the nature of the beast. It is rather easy to use but some of the menu names could be simpler for us laymen. Navigating the settings take a little getting used to, but once you get it set up it seems to keep them well so it seems setup is only needed one time. Overall I am quite happy with the radio.

Installed this in my Polaris Ranger to use in hunting camp and around my property. When transporting gear and hunters to and from the field, it’s nice not to have to worry about my hand held rolling around the cab or remembering to get it out of my pack to communicate with base camp or the other hunters.
