Too Big for Vehicle Application

This speaker is huge and the instructions say not to put it in direct sunlight. I have a Toyota Tundra and there was no good place to mount it besides the dash (direct sunlight). There was also a noticeable humming sound when the speaker was plugged into the radio. The connecting wire is also very thick and hard to hide anywhere. Overall I found this speaker to be more annoying than useful in any way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I use it in a sxs very loud and clear. I would give it five stars but for my use wish the cable was longer or it had an extension I could get for it. I’m sure for most people it more then enough.

Put this thing on the roll bar and blew my ear drums out it was so loud! Great speaker for open air vehicles.

This speaker was exactly what I was looking for in my rig. I had been having issues hearing due to how loud my combine can get - and with this speaker - I didn't have any issues!
