[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice fridge with good features. Fits well in our kitchen. Deliberately bought this model (without many bells/whistles) to hedge against the likelihood of some component failing in the first year. After having it for a week, the thing started chiming at us non-stop for no apparent reason. Turns out the control panel had some kind of malfunction. It was replaced quickly by the dealer who sold it to us. Seems to be corrected now. Bottom line: as a consumer, you can have no confidence in the reliability of any major appliance when you buy it. It is a crap shoot, and you’re just as likely to get a lemon as you are to get a trouble-free unit. It’s just the way it is. The best you can hope for is to get one that works well enough to keep your groceries cold for a few years and allow you to put away enough money to buy a new one in 3 years as you will invariably have to do.

Why Review Now?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The appliance is only a few weeks old, have had no problems-this is what I paid for, a new appliance that works when plugged in. How about asking for a survey or review after a year of use or better 6 months after the warranty expires. That way it would be an honest review of the product and any customer service events/problems that may have arisen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new Gallery French Door refrigerator! It replaced a 10+ year old, smaller, side-by-side. It fits lovely in our new kitchen. The bottom freezer is ideal. Fingerprint resistance is a must! :)
