Long overdue update!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently replaced our nearly 20 year old Frigidaire refrigerator with a new Frigidaire. After being a work horse for our family, our old one was looking tired. Our new Frigidaire has loads more space inside, much brighter lighting, and is far quieter than our old one. So happy with our upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall we like the Three door/Counter Depth refrigerator. But…the only instructions that were given to us were the installation instructions. There is no Owner’s Manual. I looked online and the Frigidaire site does not accommodate a feature for manuals or email contacts. I hope someone reads this and gets back to me.

Annoyingly Loud

We purchased the model GRFG2353AF refrigerator in an appliance store in September 2025. We decided on a smaller size than our previous refrigerator because its only the two of us in the house.
Pros: After delivery and set up, the temps had reached their suggested settings; 37 fridge, 0 freezer within 5-6 hours.
Controls are simple and easy.
The ice maker started working immediately. When the icemaker does its thing, it is very loud but the noise only lasts a few seconds. Once a full bin of ice is reached, the ice maker will check for weight to determine if it should drop more cubes. I like the size of the cubes; they are about 1 square inch. The icemaker functions well.
Cons: This unit is unexpectedly, surprisingly, and annoyingly LOUD. It's like the diesel truck that idles endlessly while making a delivery to a neighbor. We are not happy with this noise level. It's just.....wrong. There was a 26 minute moment of time when the refrigerator was absolutely quiet, like it had turned itself off. It wasn't off, of course, but those 26 minutes were heavenly. This unit is louder than the one we replaced, which was larger and 11 years old.
The Adjustable Temp Drawer has settings for Meat/Seafood, Cold Drinks, Deli/Snacks. The Meat/Seafood temp turned out to be 37 degrees. The Cold Drinks varies between 34-37. The Deli/Snacks temp settled at 36-37 degrees. We aren't sure why its called "adjustable" because it doesn't seem we can adjust the temps.
The freezer has a separator bar which slides left and right. It cannot be removed. The refrigerator is on the small side, and this bar prevents using the full size of the freezer. There is no need for this bar! Organization is key, and once you think you've nailed it, something else needs to be frozen and the exercise starts over.
We did not receive a User Guide at delivery time. We found it on Frigidaire's website and is 44 pages long. The the user guide that comes in the delivery packet is for the guys who do the install. It's 16 pages.
Summary: Overall, the refrigerator performs it's main purpose/function by keeping food at healthy temps and frozen at appropriate temps. However, we would not recommend this model to anyone simply because of the loud operation and the space-limiting bar in the freezer. These two reasons cause our 2 star rating.
